What is Cherry Bombe University?

Cherry Bombe University is a brand new three-day event. We’re taking the Bombesquad back to school to talk about food, business, and entrepreneurship during this unique weekend held at Food and Finance High School in Manhattan.

What is the Food and Finance High School?

Food and Finance High School is a public high school in Manhattan focused on the culinary arts. As NYC’s only culinary high school, Food and Finance High School provides a unique educational opportunity to students and families in the community. Food and Finance High School is supported by the Food Education Fund, a registered non-profit organization. Cherry Bombe is honored to be working with the Food Education Fund on this special event.

What’s included in my ticket?

Saturday and Sunday tickets include programming, breakfast, lunch, a snack, and a goodie bag. Friday night keynote tickets include the keynote lecture with Christina Tosi and snacks and drinks. No alcoholic beverages will be served at Cherry Bombe University as the event takes place in a public school.

Are children permitted?

Children under the age of 10 are not permitted with the exception of infants. Children over the age of 10 are permitted, but must have their own tickets and be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Is the event 21+?

The event is open to everyone over the age of 10. Every attendee must have their own ticket.

I have dietary restrictions. Will there be things for me to eat?

We are committed to a diverse menu that will include dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan options. However, if you have allergies, please note that all food will be prepped in a shared kitchen so we cannot guarantee that it will be allergen free.

Can I bring my boyfriend/brother/male friend?

Everyone is welcome at Cherry Bombe events! Please note that every guest will need their own ticket to attend the event.

Is Food and Finance High School ADA accessible?

Yes. If you need assistance on the day of the event, please email us in advance at info@cherrybombe.com.

I’m a nursing mother. Will there be someplace for me to pump at the event?

Yes. There will be a designated lactation lounge on site.

I’m buying a Cherry ticket but I want to attend one class from the Tangerine track. Can I go to classes in multiple tracks?

Due to the nature of the event and the intimate class sizes, unfortunately we cannot accommodate class swaps between tracks.

I’m buying a Student All Weekend Pass, but I want to Choose my track. Can I do that?

When you purchase a Student All Weekend Pass Ticket, Cherry Bombe will randomly assign your class track at check in. Due to the nature of this ticket type, we cannot accommodate track requests.

I’m buying a Saturday or Sunday Program “Wild Card” ticket, but I want to Choose my track. Can I do that?

When you purchase a Saturday or Sunday Program “Wild Card” Ticket,, Cherry Bombe will randomly assign your class track at check in. Due to the nature of this ticket type, we cannot accommodate track requests.

Can I buy tickets at the event?

There is no box office onsite. Booking for each event will close 24 hours prior to the event, so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance.

I can no longer attend the event. Can I have a refund?

All tickets are nonrefundable and non-transferrable.

How do I get to Food and Finance High School?

We recommend taking public transportation, as there is no on-site parking at Cherry Bombe University. The M50, M11, and M12 are the closest buses, and the C/E at 50th Street and 8th Avenue is the closest subway line.

Is there parking?

Food and Finance High School does not have on-site parking, but there is street parking and local garages.

Do I have to bring a credit card or cash?

The on-site bookshop is cashless, so please bring a credit or debit card if you want to purchase any merchandise or cookbooks.

Will there be a coat check?

Yes.
