CHERRY BOMBE 100:
Chef Missy Robbins has had quite the year. Her restaurant Lilia in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has become the reservation to snag, and literally has lines around the block before the doors open each evening. Her friends and fans call her the best chef in New York, but that status became official earlier this year when the James Beard Foundation awarded her Best Chef New York. She published her first cookbook last year, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner… Life: Recipes and Adventures from My Home Kitchen, a personal work that traces her journey from competitive kitchens to mindful living. And her newest restaurant, Misi, also in Williamsburg, just opened to more rave reviews and fans clamoring for the chef’s mind-blowing pasta, luscious vegetable dishes, and genius gelato.
