Paging Dr. Martha! On Friday, Oct. 26th, Martha Stewart will receive an honorary doctorate from Cherry Bombe University during a special ceremony at the Food and Finance High School in Hell’s Kitchen. “Martha is the ultimate teacher,” says Cherry Bombe University President Kerry Diamond. “We’ve learned so much about housekeeping, cooking, and crafting through Martha’s books, magazines, and TV shows. Her insatiable curiosity and willingness to share her knowledge has benefitted all of us.”

Martha will be presented with an honorary Doctor of Domestic Arts degree for her contributions.

A second doctorate will be conferred that evening on Christina Tosi, the lauded pastry chef, Milk Bar founder, and author of the new cookbook, All About Cake. Christina, the subject of a recent Chef’s Table documentary, will receive the honorary Doctor of Desserts degree for her contributions.

Cherry Bombe University, a weekend of food and finance classes, workshops, and networking, will commence with the Friday night ceremony. Tickets for Friday night are $50 and available at cherrybombe.com. Single-day and weekend passes are available as well. All programming will take place at the Food and Finance High School, a public vocational high school focused on the culinary arts.
