MEET THE RESTAURATEUR

Miami Chef Eileen Andrade—molded by her family's iconic Cuban restaurant, Islas Canarias—ventured into the culinary world early. Launching the CUBAN CUBE food truck with her brother, she explored her passion. A trip to South Korea in 2013 reshaped her approach to cooking, inspiring her to blend Latin and Asian flavors. In 2014, she opened Finka Table & Tap, a Korean-influenced Cuban restaurant, earning widespread acclaim. Following its success, she expanded with Amelia’s 1931 and Barbakoa by Finka. Amidst COVID-19 challenges, she transformed Amelia’s 1931 into a refined dining experience. Eileen's innovative cuisine and hospitality continue to captivate, promising an exciting future.


























ABOUT THE RESTAURANT

Amelia's 1931 is a quaint restaurant and bar serving Latin-Asian fare as well as perfectly crafted cocktails. Jazz and Blues tunes fill the air in this location which is ran by the same owners as Finka Table & Tap and Barbakoa by Finka. This location lends itself to date nights, birthdays, business dinners, or just a night out on the town. The beverage program is led by Beverage Director Alexander Aportela. The explosion of flavors on the menu are carefully curated by the owner, Eileen Andrade, as well as Culinary Director Eric Benitez and Executive Chef Ernesto Cortes.
