VALERIA ALVAREZ

Valeria is the founder of Peel!, a banana-based soft-serve shop, located in Miami Shores, that uses just two ingredients—bananas and coconut milk. EILENNE ANDRADE

chef & owner of amelia’s 1931, finka Table & tap, and barbakoa by finka

Miami chef Eileen Andrade, molded by her family's iconic Cuban restaurant, Islas Canarias, ventured into the culinary world early. Launching the CUBAN CUBE food truck with her brother, she explored her passion. A trip to South Korea in 2013 reshaped her approach to cooking, inspiring her to blend Latin and Asian flavors. In 2014, she opened Finka Table & Tap, a Korean-influenced Cuban restaurant, earning widespread acclaim. Following its success, she expanded with Amelia’s 1931 and Barbakoa by Finka. Amidst COVID-19 challenges, she transformed Amelia’s 1931 into a refined dining experience. Eileen's innovative cuisine and hospitality continue to captivate, promising an exciting future.

adrianne calvo

chef, restaurateur, cookbook author & host of searching for maximum flavor

Chef Adrianne Calvo is an award-winning Miami based restaurateur, cookbook author, Emmy-nominated YouTube show host, and podcaster known for her signature “Maximum Flavor” style. Her highly-acclaimed restaurants, Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Bar and Cracked by Chef Adrianne, are a staple of must-eat-destination lists, and her popularity on Goldbelly spurred the upcoming launch of her online shop Baked by Chef Adrianne. With the publication of her first cookbook, Maximum Flavor, she became the youngest cookbook author ever at the time.

In her Emmy-nominated YouTube travel show, “Searching for Maximum Flavor,” Adrianne travels the world in search of exciting new ingredients and shows viewers how to incorporate them into their dishes at home. Her forthcoming podcast of the same name will turn up the heat on celebrity guests who are blindfolded and served mystery meals in the course of being interviewed.

When she is not creating in the kitchen or in front of the cameras, she pours her heart and soul into the Make It Count Foundation, a non-profit that she started in honor of her late sister Jennifer.

VALERIE CHANG

chef & owner of maty’s, itamae, and b-side

Chef Valerie Chang grew up in Peru and moved to the United States when she was 10, where she spent her childhood watching her dad cook at a sushi restaurant. After a few kitchen stints of her own—including at Michael Solomonov’s Miami location of Dizengoff—she’s now the chef and owner of Maty's. Maty’s was named among Bon Appetit’s 24 Best New Restaurants and also earned a place on the New York Times’ Restaurant List, and Val and Nando were the first siblings to be named together to Food & Wine Magazine’s coveted Best New Chefs Class of 2023. Val has also been honored with a StarChefs Rising Star Game Changers award.
