Farming in Northern California since 1990, Trini Campbell co-owns and operates Riverdog Farm, a 450-acre certified organic property located in Guinda. More than 100 varieties of vegetables, melons, stone fruit, almonds, walnuts, as well as pastured pork, chicken, and eggs are grown or produced on the farm. Riverdog employs 50 people year round. Its products are sold via farmers' markets in the Bay Area four times a week, as well as direct to stores and restaurants and to wholesale distributors. Along with farming, Campbell home-schooled her daughter for 10 years and currently serves on the board of directors for local community benefit and non-profit organizations, including Capay Valley Vision and the Western Yolo Recreation Center Association. She was appointed a Yolo County planning commissioner in 2017.
