Jubilee Wine Country Talent

Meet Our Keynote Speaker: Dominique Crenn

We’re excited to share that Chef Dominique Crenn is the keynote speaker at Jubilee Wine Country! Dominique is one of the most talented and fascinating folks in the food world. Named to this year’s TIME 100, she’s an environmentalist, philanthropist, cancer survivor, author, and humanitarian. She is also the celebrated chef behind Atelier Crenn, Bar Crenn, and Petit Crenn in San Francisco and the regenerative Bleu Belle Farm in Sonoma County. And you might have noticed, but Dominique is also our cover star on The Paris Issue of Cherry Bombe Magazine!

Proprietor at The Model Bakery

Karen Mitchell grew up in Portland, Oregon, where her family ran the popular Berg Chalet, a favorite of James Beard. After earning her BA from Willamette University and completing graduate work at UCLA, she moved to St. Helena in the 1970s with her husband, John. In 1984, she transformed a local bakery into a European-style destination, building a loyal following. In 2000, her daughter Sarah joined the business, leaving the corporate world to help manage the bakery. Today, Karen is working on a cookbook and lives on a family farm, where they grow Syrah grapes and maintain an organic garden for the bakery.
