Sarah Simms
Sarah Simms is the culinary force behind Lady & Larder, the beloved Los Angeles–based cheese shop credited with starting a global grazing board movement in 2016. Together with her late twin sister and co-founder, Boo Simms (1985–2025), she built Lady & Larder from a shared vision that the dinner table was - and still is - a sacred place.
With deep roots in California’s hospitality industry, Sarah draws on her extensive background in culinary operations while carrying forward Boo’s gift for design and marketing. Lady & Larder was founded on a profound respect for American-made, seasonal ingredients and an immense appreciation for the way beautiful food creates moments of connection and joy.
Since its beginnings, Lady & Larder has become a go-to source for gatherings across Southern California and beyond. The shop specializes in custom edible displays featuring seasonal crudités, fruit, cheese, and charcuterie, while also offering curated Cheese and Charcuterie Kits, a monthly Cheese Club, online Cheese Board Classes, and seasonal gifts that ship nationwide.
Lady & Larder has been honored by outlets including The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Magazine, O Magazine, and Martha Stewart Weddings. In 2019, the shop was recognized as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things.
