As the talent behind The Dusky Kitchen blog and IG account, she’s known for her unique twist on Filipino treats, and now, those recipes and the stories behind them can be found in her debut cookbook, Mayumu: Filipino American Desserts Remixed. Abi joins host Kerry Diamond to talk about growing up in a tight-knit Filipino family, why she never thought she’d have a cookbook, her teenage crush on the Food Network, and the pasalubong boxes she creates to raise funds for causes close to her heart.
