Writer Sara Franklin, New York Times reporter Julia Moskin, and icons Madhur Jaffrey, Lidia Bastianich, and Joan Nathan call in to celebrate the life of Judith Jones, the legendary cookbook editor who passed away at the age of 93. As a young assistant, Judith discovered The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank and later went on to edit and champion Madhur, Lidia, Joan, Julia Child, Edna Lewis, Marcella Hazan, and others. She prized diversity when it came to people and palates, and believed cookbooks had literary merit. Tune in to hear what made Judith such a special talent.
