Spend the morning at Cherry Bombe House for a coffee break with pastry chef and author Caroline Schiff!
 
We’ll start at the Miele coffee bar, where you can select a beverage and sweet treat from a special menu featuring coffee drinks paired with pastries from Caroline. You’ll receive an illustrated Coffee & Pastry Pairing Guide and a Miele barista expert will be there to discuss beans, brewing, and everything in between.
 
Then, we’ll settle in for an engaging conversation between Caroline and Jessie Sheehan, host of Cherry Bombe’s baking podcast, She’s My Cherry Pie. The two will chat about Caroline’s new cookbook, Daily Dessert, her upcoming restaurant, Monday Diner, how she develops recipes, where she finds inspiration, and more. There will also be an audience Q&A.
 
Tickets are $25 and include all food and drink, a pre-ordered copy of Daily Dessert (out Oct. 13th), an illustrated pairing guide, and take-home pastries.

Caroline Schiff

Pastry Chef | Cookbook Author | Restaurateur

 

 

Caroline Schiff is an award-winning pastry chef and cookbook author with nearly two decades of experience in restaurants, bakeries, and cafés. She is widely known by her instagram moniker, @pastryschiff, and was the executive pastry chef at Brooklyn’s acclaimed Gage & Tollner (where she created her infamous baked Alaska). In 2022, she was a Food & Wine Best New Chef and a James Beard Outstanding Pastry Chef Finalist. Caroline is also the author of two baking books: The Sweet of Sourdough and Daily Dessert, which will be released this October. Her first brick-and-mortar concept, Monday Diner, will open in New York City later this year.

 

 

 

Jessie Sheehan

Baker | Cookbook Author | Podcast Host

 

 

Jessie Sheehan is a cookbook author, recipe developer, and baker. She is the author of four baking books, including Snackables Bakes, and the host of Cherry Bombe’s baking podcast, She’s My Cherry Pie. She has developed recipes for many cookbooks, besides her own, and has contributed recipes, written, and/or created video content for the Washington Post, Bon Appétit, Better Homes & Gardens, Parents Magazine, Rachael Ray Everyday, Food Network and Food Network Kitchen, Fine Cooking, Epicurious, Food52, The Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family Show, Taste of Home, the Feed Feed, Kitchn, TASTE, Chowhound, Yummly, Spruce Eats and Little Sous, among others.
