Claire Saffitz, YouTube’s favorite baking instructor and author of What’s For Dessert: Simple Recipes For Dessert People, joins Claudia Fleming, the pastry chef and author of Delectable: Sweet & Savory Baking, for a back-and-forth chat about all things baking. Claire and Claudia will talk about their new books, favorite bakes, top techniques, and more. If you’re a dessert person, pastry pro, or home baker, come and nerd out with us!
Claire’s highly anticipated new cookbook, What’s For Dessert: Simple Recipes For Dessert People, will be published Nov. 7th. YOU CAN PRE-ORDER A SIGNED COPY THAT WILL BE MAILED TO YOU. (NO COPIES OF WHAT’S FOR DESSERT WILL BE AVAILABLE AT COOKS & BOOKS.) If you pre-order Claire’s book, you will receive via email a special PDF that Claire created titled “An Insider’s Guide to Better Home Baking.” THIS IS FOR US-RESIDENTS ONLY. We cannot mail the book internationally.
Please note: Claire’s book will be mailed by our bookstore partner, Kitchen Arts & Letters, via media mail, so please give them time to arrive.
Claudia’s book will be signed and personalized in advance and distributed at the start of each event. Any books not claimed by Sunday, Nov. 6th, at 6 p.m. will be donated to Food & Finance High School.
