We had a sweet time in Atlanta for our Sit With Us dinner at Chef Forough Vakili's Le Bon Nosh. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the Atlanta Bombesquad at our community dinner series in partnership with OpenTable.
Chef Forough prepared a beautiful meal using a bounty of local produce: heirloom tomato salad with feta & shallot vinaigrette, crudités with avocado hummus & labneh, courgette fritti (fried zucchini “fries”), and vol-au-vent with chicken fricassée & puff pastry. Peaches are in season down south, so Chef Forough made a delicious cobbler with the stone fruit, cherries, and crème fraîche for dessert.
Each course had pairings from our friends at Nonino, including the Paper Plane with Amaro Nonino, Aperol, bourbon & lemon, and Nonino Grappa II Moscato, which paired with the cobbler.
We loved catching up with local culinary stars including Chef Deborah VanTrece and cover stars Casey Corn and Jamila Norman. Everyone received a copy of our Icons Issue and a special OpenTable x Cherry Bombe tote bag. A portion of the evening’s proceeds benefited Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
