SIT WITH US
Chef Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman and her team at José hosted us for a beautiful night in Dallas as part of our Sit With Us community dinner in partnership with OpenTable. We loved catching up with the Dallas Bombesquad over a delicious meal and great conversation.
We kicked things off at José with two special sips: the Crimson Flower cocktail with tequila, watermelon, coconut, and lime juice; and the Sandia Tropical mocktail with hibiscus morita, lime, Topo Chico, and hibiscus salt.
Chef Anastacia's menu, which spotlighted local produce and Mexican flavors, included an heirloom tomato & burrata salad with hoja santa pesto; duck confit tetela (triangle-shaped masa pockets) with blackberry mole, manchego & purslane; and Sinaloense-style red snapper with beluga lentils, caramelized onions, summer squash & chile güero. For dessert, there was warm capirotada de churro (Mexican bread pudding) with peaches, cajeta & vanilla whipped cream.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds benefited The American Parkinson Disease Association. Everyone left with a copy of the latest Cherry Bombe Magazine and a Cherry Bombe x OpenTable tote.
