Our final community dinner of the summer took place in Portland and the Bombesquad was out in force! More than 80 folks, many from the local food & wine scene, joined us at Chef Cathy Whim’s Nostrana for our Sit With Us gathering with OpenTable.
We kicked off the evening on the patio with welcome cocktails, mocktails, and panino stuffed with escarole, golden raisins & pine nuts. Next, everyone headed to the dining room and were welcomed by Cherry Bombe founder Kerry Diamond, Chef Cathy, and OpenTable District Director Mariel Gottlieb. Oregon Wine Board Education Director Bree Stock MW spoke about the women-led wineries on the evening’s wine list.
Nostrana Events Chef Sara Woods presented the evening’s menu: zucchini carpaccio with tomato vinaigrette and garden herbs; cherry and ricotta ravioli with hazelnuts, oregano, lemon verbena, and thyme; and lamb chops with summer vegetables and new potatoes; and for dessert, choux buns with berries and chantilly.
Cherry Bombe’s Community Manager Donna Yen thanked everyone for a beautiful event and sent all the attendees home with a special Cherry Bombe x OpenTable tote and a copy of our print magazine.
