Cherry Bombe brought a touch of Paris to Brooklyn to celebrate Ruth Reichl’s highly anticipated new book, The Paris Novel, at L'Appartement 4F.
Ruth, the bestselling author and legendary editor of Gourmet magazine, read from her book and talked about the food, art, and fashion that inspired the story; her writing process; and her thoughts on the current media landscape.
Everyone toasted Ruth with glasses of La Grande Dame 2015 by Veuve Clicquot and enjoyed a beautiful spread of cheese, crudité, and canapés from L’Appartement 4F.
It was a beautiful spring night, so the party continued outside. Guests sat at tables on the sidewalk and enjoyed more La Grande Dame and warm tahini chocolate chips cookies by candlelight. Everyone took home a signed copy of The Paris Novel and a copy of The Icons Issue of Cherry Bombe Magazine.
